// pck4 // 13 presets including intro and outro. kinda dark and retro-ish. // this image is about the preset called mutáns mogyoró just the dm resolution set to 128*128 for this snapshot // thanks to UIUC for the raytraced shape (but i don't think so he knows about it) and to ~theHuRriC4nE for mechanic groove // if you see avs for the first time: rightclick on winamp somewhere, "visualization", "select plugin", select "Advanced Visualization System", press start, right click on the avs window, there are the presets.
00 VI. csík vilmos (rise of stripea): Hard to read the text but nice for a while. 01 led: I like this a lot when it starts out, when there are a lot of tiny areas. But sometimes it phases out and stays all white for a while. But it's surely one of the stars of the pack. 02 raw structure (colorless): This one is still great in its movements and clever mirroring. And it has nice smooth edges. 03 imperial ship collision: I think I can see its appeal, but it's a little too harsh and disorganized for me. Still I can't say I don't like it - maybe it'll grow on me. 04 theHurricane - mechanic groove (rave your body rmx): nice remix, I like the light/dark changes, though I'm not too much a fan of the colours. And ~theHuRriC4nE liked it when he saw it 05 who said that cubes are boring: I love this convo filter - really extreme! Interesting scope work too. 06 chroma coma: This one needs a lot of getting used to, but I came to really like it. It has the kind of feel I wish I could have done with my (failed) Shop Art preset from WFC8. 07 borth of star trek: I don't really like the background (though I think it works for this preset) but the colours in the centre of the object are great. And the thing itself moves quite nicely. 08 mutáns mogyoró: Ah! This one is astonishing. It looks like it gets a new coating sometimes and that effect is just cool. The texture is nice, though I would like to see a Dynamic Duo take on it. 09 raw structure: I like the colours here. Very much. The only thing that's sad here is that it's not as smooth around the corner-circles as the b/w version. Which leaves me undecided on which of the two I like more. 10 ledek ura: This has to be one of the coolest presets in recent times, and at the same time it's so simple. The resemblance to drops is very great. My in the pack! 11 VI. csík vilmos (fall of stripea): Maybe the only one I don't like in the pack. Just a little to jittery and with little else to go with it. Or maybe I just need to listen to rougher music end: Well it's just an outro... Though I like the way the lines move in, hesitate, and move out again
All in all a very inspiring and refreshing pack. Some ideas that are new to me which becomes more and more important as AVS gets older. Also the colours in this pack left a warmer feel than your previous packs, mostly because of led and ledek ura - a lot more reds and yellow that before. And I liked that.
thanks for the thoughts and no problem really! yep i planned to do this pack warmer than xenon. it looks like it's succeeded. 05: hehe i love that convo too! 09: yep the edges got some artifacts or what because of a convo. but this convo makes it a bit more stylish i think. 11: that rougher music is not a bad idea
hehe köszi! hát én manapság nem nézem a dd-ket de amikor látom akkor hálisten nem olyan arányban van benne manga mint amilyen arányban dA-n van. köszi a favot is!
